Préparation avant le départ // Pre-departure training
Lundi 18 Janvier, vers 11h30, arrivée à Echirolles, près de Grenoble, pour une préparation au départ qui va durer juqu'à jeudi midi.Rencontre d'une vingtaine d'autres volontaires, dans un cadre pas désagréable du tout : une auberge de jeunesse sympa, près des montagnes, avec une équipe accueillante, une super organisation et un peu de neige ! Et un groupe avec une chouette mentalité.
Quelle impression agréable de pouvoir enfin rencontrer et échanger avec d'autres français qui sont sur le point de partir en SVE aussi !!! Destinations très variées certes (Allemagne, Italie, Irlande, Autriche, République Tchèque, Arménie, Turquie, Bulgarie, Pologne, Lithuanie, Malte, Serbie, Hongrie, Suède et moi en Roumanie), mais beaucoup de points commun concernant notre état d'esprit : motivation, intérêt pour les langues et l'interculturel, nouveau départ, curiosité, beaucoup de projets sociaux, envie de partager et d'aller vers les autres...
On a parlé du SVE, des peurs/motivations/flous des volontaires, des droits devoirs des différents acteurs du SVE, des assurances, des programmes jeunesse en action, des situations de crises, des possibilités à la suite du SVE... On a rencontré aussi des volontaires SVE qui sont déjà revenus, notamment une fille qui a fait son SVE en Serbie et deux autres personnes qui sont revenus de Finlande et Croatie.
Bref, tout ça a été bien riche et le jeudi après midi est vite arrivé. Retour chez moi pour une seule petite journée : impression étrange car dans une sorte de "bulle SVE", déjà à moitié partie ! Beaucoup de motivation pour la suite et aussi un début d'appréhension qui commence à se faire ressentir. Suis-je en train de réaliser que le départ est très proche ?

Monday, January 18th, nearly 11:30 am, arrival in Echirolles, near Grenoble, for a pre-departure training which will last after Thursday lunch.
Meeting with around twenty other french volunteers, with a pleasant background : a nice youth hostel, near mountains, with a welcoming team, a great organization and snow ! And a group with a great mentality.
Such a good feeling to finally meet and exchange with other french volunteers who are about to do EVS also !!! Very different destinations for sure (Germany, Italy, Ireland, Austria, Czech Republic, Armenia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Malta, Serbia, Hungary, Sweden and me in Romania), but many points in common concerning our state of mind : motivation, other tongues and intercultural backgrounds interests, a new start, curiosity, many social projects, to be willing to share and to exchange with others...
We spoke about EVS, our fears/motivations/vaguenesses, the different EVS actors' rights and duties, insurances, Youth in action programs, the crisis situations, the possibilities after EVS... We also met volunteers who had already done EVS. There were a girl who were in Serbia and two guys coming back from Findland and Croatia.
Anyway, this pre-departure training has been very rich and the thursday afternoon came very fast. Coming back in my parents' home for only a little day : strange feeling cause I'm still in an EVS "bubble", already half abroad ! A lot of motivation for after and also the begining of a little growing stress. Am I begining to realize that the departure is very soon ?
